Guest glinny Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Dear Forum users, Please help!!!! I have an Omnia(PDA: DXHJ1/DZHJ1) Phone: DXHJ1. I have been reading all of your suggestions on how to fix the problem "Press action to unlock keypad" I do press it over and over again but nothing happens that means that I can not make calls to automated phone lines. This is very annoying. I read your suggestions but I don't know how to install them on my phone. Is there a way someone can explain them step by step. What do I need to download on my phone? or do I have to download it on my computer? how do I get them on my phone I read about Register, how do I get there. PLEASE HELP! thanx G
Guest biggy83 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) Hey there. Your best solution would be removing this annoying lock thing forever, I've done that and it is an absolute peace of mind. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Download the new patched dialer (MoDaCo.OmniaPatchedDialler.CAB) made by MoDaCo: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach...st&id=25138 2. Connect your Omnia to the PC and copy the file you just downloaded to anywhere on your Omnia. 3. Unplug and brows your Omnia to find the "MoDaCo.OmniaPatchedDialler.CAB" file and click once on it. 4. When it runs, it will ask you to install and a security message might pop up, just click "Install". 5. Install in your "Device", in other words, just click next and ok until the process is done. 6. When it says "Installation successful", hit "Ok" and restart your Omnia. Tada, no more screen lock when doing calls. Enjoy! P.S: If you are using a Dutch Omnia, install this file instead: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach...st&id=25153 Edited March 26, 2009 by biggy83
