Guest Maxwell Newton Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 Hi there, Yesterday i decided to start using Etiquette. First of all i want to say how impressed i am with it, i expected it not to work, or to work poorly! The phone has to be flat upside down for it to mute, so if you lift it even slightly to peek at the screen with your face flat on the desk, mute will be cancelled. The reason I started using this was because every night when i go to bed, instead of chaning the sound profile i could just place my phone down (face down) like i do anyway. It says that 'the current sound is temporarily muted except wakeup alarm sound'. However, my alarm didnt make a peep this morning! I am using M2D and when you click the cock on its home screen you get the standard windows alarm not the samsung alarm. Can anyone confirm this works with tclock.exe or am i doing something wrong? I do have my alarm settings set so that the alarm should sound when the phone is muted. Thanks for all help, Max

Guest deepside Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 I don't like the fact that if it's face down to begin with, it doesn't make a noise. My dad's nokia will only go into ettiquite mode if it was originally not face down, and then put into face down. That way if you accidentally put your phone face down, it will still ring. Mine still vibrates regardless though
Guest Maxwell Newton Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 LOL sorry about the miss-type! Trying the link now thanks chaps.

Guest shadowsjc Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 i turned mine off for the same reasons.. it still vibrates if its face down, and the vibration is even louder than the ringing sometimes. i have a 910.
Guest mnegutu Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 I have an i900V with a standard official i900 ROM on it and etiquette works just fine. I use it just at work sometimes, but very rarely. It pauses my track on touch player which I think is cool. But yes when it's facing down it just vibrates.
Guest cacciatore Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 Your Etiquette Mode didn't work with WinMo alarm. You'd better use the alarm function in CLOCK within provided by OMNIA in Program. I've had the same problem as you guy, tried it then it solved.
