Guest Rooster Misfit Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 so when i put the camera in night shot mode and use the flash it lights everything up. as im watching it on the screen it looks like a good image is about to come out but right as the flash goes off the the image goes dark again and it saves it as a dark photo where you can barely see anything. im taking these in a pretty dark room but its not pitch black... but when your watching it on the phone it looks like its gonna come out with alot of light but then bam its dark again does anyone else have this problem.... and is there thing that can help the flash stay on longer durring night mode? the phone i had befor this was the LG V and its night mode would have the flash stay on the whole time of the the picture and not turn off untill it was done taking the picture so it brightened it up for those of you that dont know what night mode is all about: it makes the exposure limit longer which means its "gathering" the light for the picture to make it look brighter than it actually is enableing you to take decent pictures in darker areas
Guest aceofrazgriz Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 you could try the whole "flashlight" thing which turns the LED Flash on fullblast for a set amount of time. This can possible be linked to a hardware button (or you could switch to the cam and take a shot before it goes off.) i can't say for certain, as when i just tried i found out i "broke" my flash somehow... lol just another thing to screw with, yay. but try it out, may work for ya, and should help. this app can help ya easily turn on the "flashlight" http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...odies-from-hl1/ the "favoritesettings" cab, works on my i910, its from i900.

Guest bawdiest Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 Pay attention to your ISO and other settings. Before you press on shoot button, camera uses automatic, default settings. But when shooting and saving a photo it adjusts the picture according to your settings. If your ISO is set to "auto" and the picture you shoot is too dark, try to increase the ISO manualy or activate anti shake function. You have to consider that increasing of ISO Value means less quality of your shoots
