Omnia's (i910) Media Players keeps selecting deleted songs

Something extremely annoying with the Omnia media player is the fact that despite doing 2 updates AFTER deleting and adding some songs, it keeps picking up the 'deleted' songs (which obviously don't play) and does NOT add the new songs to the list. Any ideas where to go in the Omnia to fix this??

ever use cleartemp to clear cache and playlists, etc?
