Guest jclarkk Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 Hybrid WM7 Well after a while of messing around with these themes I have finally decided to release it for public as a hybrid WQVGA theme. Currently only available as portrait! Don't know if I'm gonna bother creating a landscape theme as I hate using landscape mode. First I would like to credit the authors: Windows Device 7 by bornotty and Prot'n (WM7/Photon) by enCORe In order to make sure the theme works correctly install first these programs: 1. Resco Contact Manager 2. S2P Player (the only player that can be managed by the mortscript controls you can see in the screenshot) 3. ThumbCal I also use the beta ROM of Windows Mobile 6.5 therefor when I click programs it takes me straight to the honeycomb menu but for WM6.1 users it will only show you the Start Menu. Install Steps: 1. Install Wisbar Advance Desktop ofcourse B) (version 2.2.0.1 is advised since the docks wont lag in this version) 2. Extract the WD7 folder in the attached archive to Storage Card and Hybrid WM7 into the themes directory. 2. Goto settings inside WAD and choose the weather icons to be directed to: \Storage Card\WD7\Images\Weather\ (large_icons for large and small_icons for small). 3. Copy both font files into Windows directory. 4. Go into WAD settings and choose theme and set Hybrid WM7 as default portrait 5. Enjoy! :( To do: 1. Create an inner task switcher/closer menu as a dock 2. Create an RSS Feeds dock (don't know if this is going to be possible since WAD does not support this and I need to find an application which writes the data as registery values) 3. Make the analag clock hands look less ugly If anyone has suggestions regarding stuff he would like to have in this theme feel free to suggest.Hybrid_WM7.rar

Guest poedgirl Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 (edited) Is it just me or is there supposed to be a .skin file for WAD2 themes? I mean it looks pretty good, but unusable at the moment. Edited March 30, 2009 by poedgirl

I mean it looks pretty good, but unusable at the moment. The .skin file means you need to install it first, if you extract the folder straight into the themes folder in \Program Files\Lakeridge\Wisbar Advance Desktop\, you will see that WAD automatically recognizes it without installation. Make sure the WD7 folder is extracted into \Storage Card\. Gheorghe, did you follow the install instructions? what exactly gave you a problem? P.S: I did forget to attach the wallpaper by mistake though, once you install the theme and everything as instructed just go into settings and define it as the wallpaper Edited March 30, 2009 by jclarkk

I also don't have a storage card in my Omnia so I had to place it in \My Storage\ As you can see from the attached screenshots, I have it in the right place, yet it's not in the theme list.
Guest paulerts Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 I was able to get it to work but what I have are the window logos (the blue one and the one in the center), the Favorites and Programs and that's it. There is a circular figure at the top but the clock is not showing and so are the other indicators (bluetooth, etc)
Guest Rooster Misfit Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I was able to get it to work but what I have are the window logos (the blue one and the one in the center), the Favorites and Programs and that's it. There is a circular figure at the top but the clock is not showing and so are the other indicators (bluetooth, etc) i second that. the center windows button is there and you can click on it to bring up the menu with all the icons there. whats missing is the top area stuff. it shows wher ethe clock would go and stuff but it is missing the clock an dthe icons in that area. plus for some reason it wont let me get to wad2 settings menu (where you tap and hold to get to author mode and settings)
