M2D music (Searching...)

Hi everyone,

I am using Tarils latest Rom with M2D and I have a problem when it comes to the music player on M2D.

The Music tab stays at (Searching...) and has not found any files.

I have a mini SD loaded with quite a bit of music that I can access through coreplayer.

Basically can someone tell me either a specific folder I need to upload my music to or a change for the xml file that can let me change where M2D searches for my music?

I have searched the forum but to no avail.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

I had this problem too, and i dont think its anything to do with folders or xml, because mine only started doing this randomly one day. It was working fine, then suddenly it all ground to a halt, and even the library button didnt work. Ive stopped using that tab now because i cant get it working!

I had manila installed (with the all-in-one cab installer) and the music tab worked. I have all my music under My Storage/Music and it used to find every song i had. It actually did crash sometimes and just kept searching but after a soft reset it would return to normal. Try installing Audio Manager again (i attached the .cab).

I too had this problem, reinstalling HTC Audio manager fixed it as well.

Hi

I had the same problem.

Go to the folder My Device > Application Data > HTC > AudioManager

Delete the "music" file.

If you can't delete the file you cut the file and past it in My Storage and delete it there.

then restart the phone. Now it must work.

ok, I did that. it now (at least) has my playlist recognized, but it is notgiving me the option to play any music. it is still in search mode. Been in that mode for a good 20 minutes. any other suggestions? :D

Thanks
