Guest kav Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 i used another operator before and the wap and mms settings are already set in the fone, but now i changed operator and they use another network and i got the wap and mms setting sent by sms to my fone and they are installed but i can seem to be able to delete the previous settings. when i go to settings- connections- gprs authentication, there are 4 settings listed, wap and mms for my new operator and wap n mms for the old one. i cant tap and get a delete menu or anything. my question is how can i remove the old ones?

Sounds like you have branded ROM (ROM that is tied to your first operator). May be look at the ROM thread here how to get it unbranded. I am guessing flashing with another ROM...

I am guessing flashing with another ROM... nope. my omnia is from singapore and is unbranded/unlocked. i live in one of the scandinavian countries and usually travel to another country in europe where i have a simcard from another operator and i can use all the sims from different operators without any problems. i am currently using DZIA5. could it be a bug in this ROM??? If you select some other operator from "Settings-Connections-Operator Settings", that should clear all wap/mms settings. After that select your current operator. If you cannot find it, your phone may not be preconfigured to that area. To change preconfiguration settings: * Press the "dial" key to the left of the optical pad to bring up the dialer * With the onscreen keypad input *#1546792*# * Select 'Preconfiguration' * Enter code *#81230*# and select OK * Select "Singapore" with the default operator SingTel * Accept this, DEVICE WILL HARD RESET including My Storage!!!
