Searching through text messages in threaded mode

Hey guys

Is there any way to search through text messages? I'm in threaded mode and whenever I type to search for something, it only searches through the last 10 or so messages that's listed.

I guess no one knows of a way? Turning threaded mode off, soft resetting, then searching lets you search through all of them, but it's pretty annoying to have to do this whole thing.
