internet connection depends on area u live / use. on ur fone it'll show above the signal bars either a G, E, 3G. the G,E are slower connections but stronger sig the 3G is the main 1 but can lose easily if buildings or hills etc are in the way.- sometimes your fone to hold the setting for the sig mast that mite be old..turning ur fone off and on wont change this, ud need to do a full handset reboot (handset MUST be turned on, remove the battery, leave for about 5secs, pop battery back in and turn on) this will then pick up stronger signal. this handset reboot will work for 70% of problems from drop calls/slow fone/failed calls+texts/fone freezing etc...

there also mite be work in that area causing problems on the 3G network..ud need to email me ur postcode and i can check the area for u or call 150 form ur handset and they'll check this also.

with the volume... i think its down the fone hardware...if its really low and u think something wrong, id advise popping into a t-mobile store and asking them to check..if they're useful enough they're get another omnia fone and check the difference.(worth making sure problem not with the person calling you.)

-if u got the fone from t-mobile its covered for 2yrs and can be sent away for free for repair...(this does not include water dmg/dropping/crushing etc)
