How to creat short cut button on Omnia

I'm using Omnia & have 'Contact' Button on my left side buttom corner & 'Live' on roght side of bottom corner, But I never use any of these and would Like to configure something else that I can use more frequently as shrot cut B) .

Has any one got any idea how can I do this?? I know this can be done for sure but not sure how??

any comment, suggestion & help is much appreciated & pls guide me through as I'm not that good in all these matter..

there is a small app called keyswop (small and very usefull!!).

u can find it here i think, just do a search and install it on ur omnia and this will help u modify the softkeys as u wish.

Or you can change them in the registry by editing HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\ (112 and 113) with PHM regedit for example.

If you have some branded or custom ROM that might not work.

But still, can't find any software called swapkeys(for mobile)

and have absolutely no idea for JS your suggestion :(

its not called swap keys. it keyswop. maybe its not in this forum.

i will find it and post it here, do a search then.

its much more simpler than editing the registry and it works on all omnias i900 branded or unbranded.

I found keyswop from freewarepocket pc & it's working fine, just created short cut. It works for me, very easy.

what do u mean by wireless today plugin? is it an app for the omnia?

most people like to have softkeys removed from the "locked" link. it mainly for branded omnias, people dont worry too much abt the app put to the softkey, just that they want to remove the lock that operators put there not for the sake of other apps, but just to have some more freedom.
