Guest banderdragon Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 i have a Omnia i910 on Verizon. correct me if i am wrong, but the i910 has 8gb built in memory plus w/e i put in. If that is the case, here is my issue. it is telling me that i am using 99% of my 8gb built in memory, but i only actually shows 700meg used when i look at the files. Anyone have any idea where the extra 7GB is going? Edit: so i moved 500meg of MP3s off the unit, and BAM! i have 6.9GB free. WTF

Guest GodsGift Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 curious and curiouser perhaps one of the MP3 files is corrupt causing the win mo fat to register it as 5 gig or summat instead of 5 meg? dunno.
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Ok, I had the same problem and it was because I was using the TouchPlayer - when you update the library it "somehow" usese ALL of the inbuilt (8gig) memory... So just don`t use that player B) For now you have to format My Storage.
Guest cfds Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 My internal storage was full with only 50mb on...a reformat did the trick B)
Guest 3shirts Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Format is not necessary just delete the music folder and everything in it. That will reclaim the mysterious lost space. Then never use TouchPlayer again, stupid space-munching piece of crap
