How to replace icontact be on my spb shell

1. How can i replace icontact be on my spb shell. On the interface, there is 5 tabs like weather, programs, clock, contact. On the contact, it displays photos. However, i think that is kind of useless, and i would like it to be linked with my icontact be. Is that possible?

2. I'd my omnia and synced it with my comp, but since then, I've reformatted my comp. Now whenever i try to auto sync, there is an error.

'Windows - system error'

'A duplicate name exists on the network'

And then there is an error message when done syncing that relates to the desktop.

Any idea how i can resolve this issue?

2. Delete partnership and create a new one.

On you PC open ActiveSync. Click File and Delete Mobile Device. Reconnect your Omnia and create a new partnership.

This should work.

I have done the part 2 part, but i got the following error. I think it is my omnia which seems to be thinking it is sync to 2 PCs.

1.You need to open the script and put a correct path to your icontact application. Or change the registry manually.

If you are trying to run the script you need to have MortScript installed on your Omnia.

2. Open ActiveSync On your phone. Go to menu > options. There you should be able to delete the old partnership. If you can't then just proceed with creating a new one (just name it something different in that window you are getting) and then delete the old one.

1. Can i assume that if i've installed spb shell, i already have MortScript on my omnia? On changing the registry instead, is the link on the callerlog.exe one?

Spb Shell itself does not use mortscript. If you installed skins from imarche site than, yes, you do have mortscript already.

CallLog file changes your Call Log button, not the contacts. If you open the SwitchSpbContact.mscr file in notepad you will be able to see which reg. keays are being edited. If yuo are not sure what I am talking about and/or never tweaked the registry before, dont try it. Just use the script and instructions from the link.

The script says im currently on spb mobile shell, and would be switching to icontact, i clicked ok. But there is no changes, still showing pictures from spb.

I noticed the link you gave me is for icontact (latest version at 0.92). However, im using burt icontact be 6.4.5.

Would that make a difference? The contents of the files are seemingly the same. If so, the links you provided doesnt seem to work with burt icontact be v6.4.5. Would prefer to continue using this version, tried icontact 0.92, didnt really like it as much though they are quite similar.

I dont think it matters which program you are using as long as you specified the correct path to it.

The page with pictures will always show up since it is part of Shell. However if you press the Contacts button on that page (lower right corner) it will open the icontact. So I guess it is not %100 what you want, but it is something

Because im currently using spbwatcher, so my lower right corner is the page with pictures, which you mentioned is part of the shell. Is there no way i can access it, say for example, through the dialer at the very minimal?

I am not sure I follow what you are saying B)

If you open SPB Shell ang go to contacts page it has 9 or 12 ikons where you can put your most used contacts with pictures. The very last icon on that page (lowest row, on the right) can not be filled with contact, and if you press it, window with the rest of your contacts will open. By default this window will be from Shell, but with this script it will open icontact instead. This is the only thing that this script does. If you want to link icontact to Omnia default dialer, I am afraid I dont know the solution
