go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:WMPLAYER and change the wmplayer.exe with the one you want to.

for honeycomb wallpaper need to find StartMenu_Background_Screen_240x400 and StartMenu_Background_Screen_400x240

take care

I don't get the honeycomb menu; why is this so much better than a standard grid of launch icons. Seems like with the honeycomb layout you can't fit as many launch icons on the screen. Is Microsoft just trying to be different from the iPh* or is it really better somehow?

I have one question. Is there a way back for example if I choose to install shokka rom with WM6.5 and suddenly I do not like it for some reason, can I just simply download for example DXIA5 rom and install it?

Thanks for answers. B)

Edit the key

HKLM > Software > microsoft > CHome > Music > LocName

HKLM > Software > microsoft > CHome > Clock > LocName

etc

Then reset. The titles should change.

@ Luk - yes you can go back to WM6.1, via a normal flash.

Hello B)

I try it, but don't change ...

hmmm... I am starting to think that they are hard coded in to the software. There doesn't appear to be any other registry keys. The Titanium.cpl files also don't seem to control the titles. Also, the CHome Config program doesn't let you edit them either! Might need to be hexedited by someone clever :(

I'm using now the Shokka wm6.5 lite (newest) and I'm not able to change the background of Honeycomb.

With Kuanchai wm65 rom, I was able to change both backgrounds using the 'Set to wallpaper' thing. When I select a picture, I will set as background both today and honeycomb.

You've already got the point of it. M$ is just trying to imitate the iPhone and tricking us that it's something new, but especially the honeycomb menu is just plain bullsh*t! I too think HTC's all apps. list (just a plain list scrolling up and down) or Home's app-list are way better.

I really hope they start doing something soon. Maybe start with someone to beta-test it, rather than own employees?

Yes, I've done it myself yesterday. I've tried Sector lite w6.5 rom but there's a lot of features useless for me. Also I think that screen sensivity is less accurate comparing with Qbus lite W6.1 rom.

So I'm back to 6.1.
