Hey,

so, ever since i got my omnia, id just copy my music folder from my computer onto the one on the omnia, and click "no" when it asked me to copy an already existing title (given that "no to all" doesnt exist). Now that ive got like 7k songs tho, that can be really annoying :S. I've installed the Omnia software on my computer, but the synching program doesnt seem to be very straight forward.

Do you guys use that app, or how do you synch your files? Thanks for any help,

Franz

have your omnia in active sync mode and use windows media player to sync you library and playlists. i manage everything from windows media player on my desktop.

i use WMP to sync up too. its easy if you actually use WMP. you can always switch the phone to USB Mass Storage mode and transfer everything yourself too (or just do it using activesync to browse and paste.) I started using WMP just to put music on my phone, and since then i have almost all album art and the like, its pretty good at finding album art for the most part. although i'm not a huge fan of the way WMP works with its library, its still the easiest way.

also, you can manage playlists using wmp. you can sync existing playlists that you already have too. when you make changes to your desktop library, everytime you sync, everything is updated on ur omnia - including deleted songs, added songs, album art and etc.
