IGO8 Voices

Hi all,

for those of you who have IGO8 (the 8.3.2xxxxx) versions, can you help me?

The program launches and everything works in it except for the voice guidence. Usually the IGOs will say "turn right in 1/4 mile" and all of that but mine doesn't say anything at all, ever. There is no voice in the navigation. I do have the voice files in the content/voice folder and I can select them in the settings but they just don't work. Any thoughts? Thanks all

Did you check in the Settings menu if you have the voice volume off?

What exactly happens when you choose voices from the menu? Do you hear "Have a nice trip", or just a beep?

If you only hear beep it means that you either have incompatible version of voices or are missing some dll files

Yeah I hear the Have a nice trip and drive safe. And ill double check the sound settings but i think they are on

Im an idiot, but my voice volume was off, sorry to waste a topic fellas and thanks for your help.
