Hi

I was wondering if there is any software out there which will let me use my Samsung Omnia i910 via some software on my computer, like type SMS and arrange contacts and stuff. I use vista so active sync can sync my stuff but i was wondering if there was like a exploration program. So basically i want something i can do common tasks on my phone from a program on my computer, whilst hooked up by USB.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

P.S

Im also looking for some dinger friendly apps for my Omnia i910, like contacts, email, sms, etc...

Any help is great, i tried SPB but dont really like the suite, So separate apps is what im looking for i think, that will work instead of my normal ones.

Oh also i set up my Gmail account on the phones email setting in the standard msgs program, and it lets me decide how many days worth of headers to download, but is there a way to just get new mail, and not get the headers of the ones in the inbox already?

Thanks

My Mobiler should be right for you, it lets you control your Windows Mobile device on a PC and it is free - LINK

I downloaded the My Mobiler... I really wish I would have known about this app earlier! Makes it much easier to add contacts into my phone book... Freak accident caused the loss of ALL my contacts... fortunately I had a back up phone list... unfortunately it's in a word document...

aww that sucks, if anyone has a copy of the True Connect laying around, give me a shout i wanna test it before i buy it. I might just install the trial, but do trials leave trails behind once uninstalled on WinMO

Even if they do, wouldn't a hard reset fix that worst case?

The part of True Connect that runs on your device is really lite. It shouldn't leave much behind if you uninstall it.

I use PimBackup and it is free to backup your contacts and schedule. Here is a copy of it. Just copy it to your phone. You can use the auto backup to backup at a scheduled time daily, weekly, etc. I do daily. It does work even when you transfer to another phone.

PPCPimBackup28.exe
