Guest meabigbaldguy Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Has anyone tried SPB TV yet? If so, then can you tell me what US or English channels if any are available? Is it worth the download?
Guest bpivk Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 I have tryed it... In my opinion it's not worth it. Some of the channels didn't work and were just buffering. Some of them did work but weren't interesting. You get a comedy channel (latino comedy), some weather and news channels and some other channels. Nothing interesting for me at least but if you watch a lot of news and stocks than this is just the thing for you. The best channel that i found was some german channel that had movies and everything. The other channels are just plain old boring.
Guest inite Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 I've tried it some hours ago as well. Not my favorite application. Doesnt have too many channels, and tbh, most are boring. Doesnt have any real popular channels like CNN, and most arent english.

I'm a bit shocked because I'm a fan of SPB otherwise. Anyway, I checked out the trial version... not only are all but two or three of the 20 or so channels locked out, there are just about 20 channels! Shameful because they are advertising much more than that from 38 countries or something to that extent. I did check out Diamond TV and it looks much better - not only do they have variety, but they also have American - which is really important to me because I'm a proud American... living in Europe.
