Problem with sms chat 1.16

By right, the latest sms, either the ones i received or sent, are on the top.

However, whenever i do a soft reset, the arrangement seems to be quite random, and not by the latest received/sent arrangement.

Is this a known problem, or have i done something wrong in the settings?

I turned off conversation mode... and all my messages stay in order, even with a soft reset.

What do you mean by turning off conversation mode? How do you do that?

if you have flashed to the new ROM there is a setting in system settings you can change to turn it off. If not then there is a reg hack somewhere to do it. This way your Texts don't look like an IM or thread, they come in individually.

I see.

Another problem i noticed is that sometimes when i click on the sms icon (using spb mobile), it opens up the default sms interface, instead of sms chat. After a soft reset, it'll be working fine. How can i resolve this. Can be really irritating.
