Guest NewKlNGjames Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) I have been posting in This thread about the new i910 ROM, but thought that there was so much going on in that forum that it might be better to start a whole new topic. What happened is that I tried to install the new ROM that just came out for the i910. All the software installed fine. I followed the instructions to the "T". It read the device, loaded the eboot. and then turned off like normal to reboot. the problem is that it never rebooted. The screen is now always blank. when I try to turn it on all that happens is that the power button on top of the phone is backlit solid red. it does nothing else. I have removed the battery. PLEASE HELP!!!!! I will try anything to get this to work. thanks in advance. EDIT: The program used to flash my omnia will not recognize it anymore. So I can't just try to reflash it. Guest somedude Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 please post as much details as you can in this thread: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...a-observations/ There has got to be a reason why we brick our phones, and maybe we can find the root of the problem so that others dont suffer the same fate. But, at least you get a red light, i dont get anything, my phone is completely dead. Im not sure what i can do to help. Maybe its best you call up verizon and have them ship you a new one so you can have it by monday.

I called vzw and since it is only 1 1/2mo old I can take it in and have it replaced instore today. I'll do that if I have to, but would rather not.
