Guest Omega Ra Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 i am stuck on the same thing... what is your error message? i get something like, failed to open file ui.igo8\120_200\loading bmp all that means is you have to start it in Landscape mode...I kept getting that until I started the program in landscape.
Guest Neil5459 Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 make sure your installing to sd card You don't need to install to anywhere specifically. iGO8 comes on a dedicated microSD card and inserting it prompts the installation. It then installs the executables and DLLs into device memory requiring about 10-15 MB of free memory; running the program requires 20MB free program memory. Some devices with non-standard resolutions need have iGO installed while in a supported format, which is why putting the device into landscape mode mayt be required.
Guest yashgupta25 Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 It depends which version you're installing If it's the orginal version, then you just need to pop in the SD card in and install. The only down-side is that you'll need to keep the card inserted in the phone, and cannot replace it with a larger capacity one. [Moderator Edit] Discussion of illegal software is not allowed on Modaco But a generic thing that work most of the times is to start the app in the landscape mode.
