Guest coryshubert Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 When I drag into Toast's window (v8) to the Copy window/Image File I get an error saying "Toast could not detect the format of the "Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso." Click Continue if you are certain that it is a valid disc image." So I do, then it gives another popup with File size: 3.61GB, Pregap: 0 Sectors, Postcap: 0 Sectors, Sector Size: 2352 Bytes and the selection for Scrambled is not checked, then I say OK. In the Toast main window I see a Copy Summary screen that says: Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso 3.61 GB CD-ROM XA When I look down at the bottom right corner of the Toast window I see DVD as the selection of type of drive and most of the bar full of green. So this seems like a good thing and should work. But when I go to burn a DVD-R disc I get yet another popup that says CD-ROM XA or Audio tracks cannot be written to a DVD and then it just doesn't do anything. So, what is up? What are the simple steps to burn a DVD of the Kelyway 10.5.2 iso on a Mac with Toast? Thanks all, Cory
Guest E=mc² Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Are you using OSX? I've never used Toast before as you can burn .iso files using Disk Utility. I've never had issues with it myself.
