I couldnt find a SIM card in my verizon omnia i910, does it have one , or does this mean i cant unlock it and get it to work on any network in the future? or is it just hidden?

awwww, wierd, so its useless and cant be unlocked if we leave verizon in the future. WoW verizon are nasty lol

CDMA does not use sim cards (for the most part). The only other CDMA networks are Sprint, and alltel (I believe). The i900 omnia is GSM, the i910 is CDMA. AT&T is GSM.

i think verizon and sprint are pretty much the only carriers with cdma in the world lol... i have heard talks about verizon switching to gsm, but only talks....

the blackberry is the only verizon phone that can be unlocked i think....

anything that is for global traveling is gsm

Verizon will never switch to GSM. Their next evolution will be LTE.

But LTE is GSM-based. At that point, I think their network would be like the others.

Yeah, most US carriers are planning LTE, which is great news for us. Verizon was always hands down the best service in my area, but i was always annoyed at the lack of selection of devices.
