In theory the phone could work on another CDMA network (such as Sprint), but I'm not sure if anyone has successfully done that. It would be a lot of trouble to do.

i read on another post that both verizon and sprint and cdma, but the phones won't swap. i noticed on heroes the other day (i know it's just a show) but they were all using what looked like the omnia with a sprint logo. i thought maybe that was advertising for that phone, and now i find out they don't have it. i was hoping that new software or something would allow my omnia to be used on the sprint network.

It was probably the Samsung Instinct...

yeah you are probably right about the instinct. this sucks. i love my omnia, best phone i have ever had, but verizon is really getting on my nerves.

Oh dear. :excl:

This is an international forum about the Omnia. I am in the UK so while I would gladly help you with questions about software, roms or anything phone specific that I can, I know nothing about US networks so couldn't offer advice there.

Might I suggest you try a forum relating to networks, and a forum that is specifically US targeted if that's what you want. Just look at some of the topics relating directly to phone functions or check out the ROMs sub-forum and see just how much help and research is floating around.

This is a fantastic and supportive community which you seem to have written off after only posting to ask (or should that be, demand) help for yourself. Maybe you should just jog on :excl:
