Ebay Application :)

Anyone know of any good ebay applications? I am sick of m.ebay.com its shocking doesnt give you any information if your selling really. The main site is better and i cant get that to run because anytime i use www.ebay.com it just knows its a windows mobile device and changes to m. ... what i'd really like is an ebay app which has everything :excl:

I agree, the search function in m.ebay.com is really bad too, you cant select specific options and its really annoying to have to go through the whole thing. MY friend has the G1 and there is a really cool Ebay app on there, i wonder if there's anyway to port it over?

If there was anyway to edit the facebook app because it uses a very similar interface to the G1 ebay app and a similar way of connecting (to your account etc)

Check XDA-Developers. THere was one floating around. I used it a couple of months ago. Can't remmeber what it was.

Whats wrong with opera? Just navigate to the desktop version of ebay...?

yeah just change your settings to desktop computer instead of handheld. then restart opera...should work.

having to reload the page everytime in opera is slow, especially if you're bidding on something and you dont want to lose, so many times ive lost in the last few seconds due to slow loading times....also you have to zoom in all the time if you want to read things

An app would allow for better viewing and access, if there was a way to use the picture/description/summary option from ebay mobile and put it into an app with the same search functionability as the normal ebay it would be nice.

Well that's the problem. If you included all the funtionality of ebay into a program do you not think it would render at the same speed? If you're loosing items last minute you are not taking advantage of ebays proxy bidding.....or you're trying to snipe an auction.

Anyway, maybe write ebay and ask them?! I would think they would have an interest in this kinda of software considering how many winmo devices are being sold these days!

I looked around on xdadevelopers and found a link to mYSpike (http://www.myspike.de/). Download : http://www.myspike.de/d/free/ppc/myspike.cab

The website is in German but software is in German and English. Is only working for eBay Germany, Austria and Schweiz (says the website).

I've tested it a bit and it gives small errors here and there (maybe related to running it on WM6.5L1) but in general it works.

Have a look yourself if is meets yout needs....
