I have the VZW Samsung Omnia i910 and a Oticon Streamer for my bluetooth device. The Oticon streamer goes to my Oticon Epoc hearding aids.

The device pairs up just fine and shows up as a wireless stereo and hands free which is correct. The problem I have is that when I try to start a call from the BT I hear it beep but it never says a command, also if I try to say a command it does nothing. I can answer an incoming call just fine with it.

It does the same thing with my wifes Motorola BT 710 device.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks

If you're having the same problem with another phone I would suggest finding a forum more oriented towards that specific product or calling tech support.

Sorry I cannot be of more help.

My bluetooth streamer worked fine with my Moto Q9M, it does not work completely with the omnia. A motorola bluetooth device does the same thing on my Omnia as my bluetooth streamer does. It seems to be a bluetooth problem on the phone or voice commands not working on the phone. I had the same problem before flashing with the new rom.

it doesn't say a command. When it beeps simply say Call...so and so...and it will repeat you and you say yes and it dials. BTW Awesome hearing aids! My G/f is an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser and those are top of the line!.

Yeah, they are totally cool hearing aids :excl: Stereo headphones and I get the phone in both ears as well :excl: .

I have tried that and the mic symbol will come up and I hear a beep, try to give the phone a command like call someone and it just beeps and again and closes the bt connection. I can answer a call with it and talk without a problem, if I push the button and hold it for a couple seconds it will redial the last person I talked to, stereo headphones work fine, everything is good except for being able to tell the phone to call someone.

Like I said earlier, these things worked fine with my Moto Q, and I get the same results when trying to use a motorola 710 bluetooth.

Any other suggestions?

That is odd. That is what mine does. I press the button on my BT and it beeps, I say call whomever, and it repeats it back to me and I say yes and it dials..don't know why it doesn't work for you, very strange.
