Guest Omega Ra Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Put up some screenshots so people can see your handy work (ie how m2d looks on here and show the available device memory. It would eliminate people asking lol.

Guest Foster318 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 OUTFRICKINGSTANDING!!! I've flashed all your roms since v1 way back 2 days ago, lol. I just put v3 and installed an i900/i910? ver of M2d today. I had issues getting the Opera to open, and the youtube app looked like poop. Then I came home to find you made a new M2d rom. Loaded it up and turned it on, and I was excited to see the new boot screen! Then I went through and checked the browser and youtube, both perfect. Then I found the TCPMP, was going to use coreplayer, it worked great for what I need too! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your work. I won't be changing my omnia for a while now. I've used 4 different UI's and this is by far my fav so far. Thanks again! Also for anyone wondering I use IGo 8, and it works great with these Roms.
Guest WoZZeR999 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Yeah, V3 had a major bug that caused Opera to not open. The Youtube is the same app, so if it looks better, it's mostly mental I think. As long as everything is better, I'm just glad to help.
Guest boolieman Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Oh man i think this may have turned me into a cooking whore for my phone since i know how to do it with this one thanks sooo much man for posting all the stuff im now running your v4 but thinking of going to m2d right now.
Guest Pimpsauce McGillicuddy Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) WoZZer, You are the wind beneath my wings. Forever Yours, Pimpsauce McGillicuddy On a serious note to other readers....this cooked pda bin works exactly as advertised and it takes about 5 minutes to perform the whole procedure. I'm very much looking forward to future releases. I wanted to add that I flashed the version with M2D and I have 81.44 MB free of internal Storage and 58.31MB free of program memory Edited April 13, 2009 by Pimpsauce McGillicuddy
Guest rayden25 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Bugs in V4 M2D for me: -camera hangs -cannot select to save pics to my storage or storage card -Easy Settings won't open That's it for now. I'll let you know if I find anything else. BTW-Flashed this one the "correct" way by only selecting the pda section and I didn't brick my phone.

These truly are unique to you...I just tried everything on this list and it worked flawlessly.

Yup, tested those too, try installing the full i910.VZW.Leaked.Image first, then after you go through the *228 steps, flash over that with mine.
Guest mikewinger Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Hey, im having trouble flashing this ROM. I already flashed the leaked one, and everything went smoothly. I've done everything youve said and for some reason its just not detecting my phone.
Guest anthrax79 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Does this M2D have the but where you can not add ZIP codes to the Weather app? The HUGE 22MB AIO that I was playing with before would not let me add my city.

Anthrax: I don't think M2D was setup to add zip codes. you may have to edit HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml (copy it to your PC, the overwrite it on the windows folder on your Omnia). If you need your city code, it's the accuweather mobile site's code. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=439399 Edit: It doesn't seem to want to accept zip codes. That might be for only later versions of M2D. I'm using 19b because it is the most stable for the Omnia. Edited April 13, 2009 by WoZZeR999

Yeah I have the leaked rom already. The camera doesn't hang anymore, but I still cannot change to storage card or the settings deal. I'll try to flash it again. No biggie really, I am just happy to have M2D!
Guest cynthia399 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 everything seems to work well for me except I can't select a picture size in the camera app. Thanks for your hard work.
Guest myoder020 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 i flashed the m2d rom and the only problem I have is that the "All Programs" button only works once. Like you hit it, it brings up the list of programs then you close it and try to open it again and nothing happens.

Hmmm, changes fine on mine. Have you tried a soft-reset? myoder020: Seems to be a known issue for M2D. Try this cab for a replacement 'all programs'. Edited April 13, 2009 by WoZZeR999
Guest glsniper Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Can anyone comment about the speed? Is this cooked M2D rom faster than if I used the AIO cab, for example?
Guest ruoko Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 I feel like this should be posted as well, its a list of all the cabs off of the omnia. I don't know if they work on the i910, but they're off the i900. http://www.samsung-omnia.org/shokka9's...moved-programs/ if you want to install something that was removed.

I think it's a *little* faster, but theoretically it shouldn't really be any different. Thanks Rouko, I'll add it to the first post. Edited April 13, 2009 by WoZZeR999

Guest David Park Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Built in scrolling? The one that clicks when you try to flick scroll, it clicks and goes down 1 line every 1/2 a second~
