Guest yashgupta25 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Hey all I tried to look for a version of Google Earth that would run on the omnia. But apparently there is none. Just for the fun of it, I tried to install the PC version, of course that didn't work :excl: . But is there something out there that would be similar to google earth, coz they've released an app for the iPhone. If not, is there something else that is similar to it. I'm mainly interested in viewing maps offline, especially while international roaming. I know I'll get recommendations for using a GPS, and I already have one on, but I don't have maps for all the places in it, so not much useful in those places. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Guest Tonza Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 What about google maps? :excl: You can see the satellite images by selecting "satellite view".

Guest yashgupta25 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 @ Tonza, I agree with you, it's ALMOST the same, but then again it's the best when you have a data connection. But I'm sure no one would be enthusiastic enough to switch on dat connections on international roaming :excl:
Guest theidoctor.org Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 google earth might be cool....
