Google's working on a gps navigation

Sorry if anyone has talked about this before... just found out today.

Google is working on their own type of navigation system with turn by turn directions... apparently, it is supposed to show a real view of the roads and stuff....

lol yea, i posted a cab file for that earlier... that was my work on trying to find what google is making....

but with google working on their own product, its gonna blow that one out of the water!

Well duh, its not like my Omnia stores 12TB or data either. I don't see the big deal here, if anything its a scaled down version of readily available cell phone apps that already use Google Maps. In this case tho, they are probably working with VW on a purpose built system tested to work well with Google Maps, maybe including the 3d maps too
