I was trying to use the gps with a program i have called tracker that takes gps snapshots at time intervals and saves them to a google earth file so that I can map trails that I hike. It worked fine yesterday when I had a phone signal but today when I tried to use it where my phone had no reception, I could not get a GPS lock. I though that the aGPS had nothing to do with our gps signals?
