NEW KEYBOARD for i910 new rom, getting there!

I'm making a new keyboard. Just for the new ROM for the i910. I know how to change the colors of the key's, and how to reshape the keys. BUT...... I'm having trouble figuring out what changes the actual letters on the key's color. (NOT THE COLOR OF THE KEYS, BUT the color of the actual letter, number, symbol, etc.....on the key.) So, if anyone know's how to.... please let me know. thanks in advance.

Looking into a CAB i downloaded to change the old keyboard it appears it was contolled by XML files named like Samsung_i900.Keyboard.Common.Landscape.Symbols.xml and similar but i cant find any of the files in the new rom =/

Yeah i think i found what controls it. So i'm ging to complete all the keyboards and change something in the xml files. Thanks, becase you made me realize a difference in the the new ROM xml file and the mykeyboard xml file. hopefully it works. if so it will be done no later than saturday or sunday. busy day till saturday. FINGERS CROSSED

ok first idea didn't work to well so ths is the new one- still gotta change the xml's for font color and make the other 2 key boards. tell me what you guys think? it's not final so if any ideas i might change something lol

edit- the first pic is the "enter" key pushed in. when i'm complete, when a letter is pushed, it will look like the "enter" key when not pushed and vis versa. (that sounds complicated)

edit2: in the symbol keyboard i made a mistake where a silver button should be black i noticed it and fixed it allready

Only if the i900 folks have the new keyboard with popup keys. Otherwise, no, its i910 only.

Note that this whole thing might change when the "Official" Rom is released by Verizon.

well, i just like the theme a lot, its nice to have more options..... but it is just basic samsung key board, kinda slow when u typing a txt......but have u guys tried out the fingerkayboard? dose it work on i910 as well?

i can see if i use the xml from the all black keyboard if it will still work correctly

+1 - Nice looking layout. Will the popups of the keys (ala iPhone) also have the same color scheme?

Yes it works I have fingerboard v2.1 in mine right now :excl: kinda want a new skin for portrait without the arrows and the keys a little bigger though.

what do you mean? the popup key is pictured in the last screen shot. its going to be grey faded to black (as is in the picture just added an outline)
