Never tried SPB tho. UPDATE I have since become a fanboy of SPB Mobile Shell v3. It s faaaaasssssttt compared to Vitoware and much more stable then my experience with M2D. Guest jason07 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Id i'd seen this thread 1 hour ago, I would've definitely said M2D... but i just downloaded SPB shel v. 3, and wow - its seriously awesome. Options to do everything... amazing touch/flow and scrolling, and it almost totally negates the need to use the standard WinMo interface, which is less than finer friendly. Give it a go.

So, maybe you can have amazing themes with SPB SHELL and is quite easy to use it too, but... ...the MOST SIMPLE UI and with superb themes to make your device looking gorgeous, is Manila2D. It's the MOST simple UI, because you just scrolling a bar from left to right and back again - that's simple! And, there are many-many fantastic themes to use or to create one of your own. The SPB Shell using many-many parts for a theme, perhaps a SPB Shell's theme is more beautiful & complicated than a M2D's theme, but... hey, is just a bloody phone, not a painting on a wall. To me, you need a good looking UI but also, fast enough to apply it and use it... So... M2D!

I think M2D first and BIG minus is lack of a miss call, mail, sms thing. A lot of modifying is required to get one so-so looking widget. And SPB Shell's minus is it's not free if you care at least a bit for author rights ( I am not telling which I am :(! But how can one say M2D is simpler than SPB.... If you use them both for a while than there isn't any doubt. SPB is the most simpler GUI for the phones there is... believe me.... TESTED with my father in law (55 years old). I must admit I currently use OCK's GTX, but that's just out of curiosity. I am going back to SPB this weekend. And Andrew about this statement of yours "I don't want to spending over... 2hrs at least, to modify my UI.Is borring." How can be more fun spending 5 hours a day reading the forum and posting compare to modifying your own phone the way you like it and have it unique. It's the whole point of this forum on my opinion.
