Contacts Keypad in SpbMobileShellSkins 3.2

I am using SpbMobileShellSkins 3.2. I still cant figure out how to use the keypad in Contacts to find a contact quicker than dragging the scroll bar down all the time. Can someone help the handicapped? :excl:

what contacts page are you using? The favourites (star with phone icon) only shows 18 for me and that page isnt scrollable (well it is but the page just bumps up and theres nothing else there) you might be able to add more in the registry. The contacts carousel shows (all) contacts that you have added to the favourites, there may be a way to show all contacts but i haven't tried yet. There is then SPB contacts page (person with phone icon) which has a hidable keypad where if you press a letter it selects all contacts with that letter in (pain i know if you select A or something very popular) other wise if you press 0+ then you can search by number if you start to type the first few digits (but if you know it off by heart would be just as easy to go to dialer). Otherwise its just a case of finger scrolling im afraid, or at least thats what i've got to, its not that bad, the scrolling is pretty fast and i just save the most important to the favourites, i mean, 18 is clearly enough for me!

When I press the keypad on the SPB contacts page I press the "8tuv" key looking for "victor". Once, I get 8, twice I get 88, a third time 888. How do I get to "V"?

You don't have to get "v" just type in the next letter ...ie, to get victor you just type 8(v) 4(i) 2© etc etc...the contacts will pop up for you as you narrow down the choices.

I hate predictive text. Like when typing a text message or in Opera. Is there a way to turn that off?
