Hey guys,

I have just recieved my Samsung i900 Omnia Rubberized Back Hard Case. Now this is no ordinary case...the case comes with an extension to the bottom of the case of about 1/2 a centimeter so that it can hold the stylus!

So no more, "is that your mascara stick?", "nice chapstick on your phone there...", "is that your eyeliner dangling from your phone?" comments...as now this cover saves the day and has made my Omnia go from 'really' cool', to AWESOME!

I recommend. I live in AUS and it took about 6 working days delivery.

That's the best looking solution for this problem I've seen yet. There was another one posted here a while back that had the stylus on the side, and it was aweful.

Tempting... the only thing I don't like is the way it covers (or doesn't) at the bottom. If it instead had a rubber lip that fit the top part of the curved edge on the bottom, flush, it would be much better looking.

Check the link.... it is $14.50 American ($11.50 + $3 shipping)

I think it looks great! You can see more of your phone. Also the case has a slilght rubberish feel...but the case is quite hard...to the point I was concerned about breaking the case when forcing the phone into it. It fits VERY securely in the case...no chance of the case coming off by mistake (hense why there is no lip), that's for sure.

from the pic, its about the size of i900L with the case, thats not too bad, i can live with that..........

what the.. a thread about this exact case was around a couple of months ago.. strange because back then.. every1 said it was ugly :excl:.. but here every1 thinks its awesome lol.. but yeah.. this is a nice case.. i have a black one myself.. my only criticism is that theres a cheap stricker strip at the bottom of the cover and it tends to peel quite easily. :/ but other than that.. the phone fits really tight with this case and it offers great protection (cept for the front :excl:) its well worth it :excl:

Looks cool, hope it fits my i910 have a black one on the way. Shouldn't be an issue I'm pretty sure they are the same size.

Make sure you know exactly what model you have - they are NOT all the same size. I found this out when I bought a Monaco aluminium case for my i900 and it did not fit (the length was not enough). I figured this could not be and it had to be a production issue, but then I found out that my model is a i900L which stands for "Long" and is a model sold outside of the States. Apparently it has 7 channels as opposed to 4 in the regular Omnia (don't know why that should make any difference, but it does).

I bought one of these and it is great for what it is. I don't use it now because I have a Brodit car holder which is a tight fit to the Omnia without this and it's too hard to put it in and out of this case all the time. If you plan to leave it in there though, it's great, the stylus is much smaller than the Samsung one and neatly tucks away.

In fact, does anyone in the UK want a black one? £10 posted?

Had mine for a little while now. Here is a review I posted on PPCGeeks.com.

It fits very well and looks pretty good. It also feels good in the hand not adding to much bulk. The biggest addition is to the bottom of the phone since that is where the stylus holder is but it only adds another 1/4 inch to the length of the phone.

The stylus is telescopic and smaller in circumference then I expected but it feels alright in the hand. It is now also conveniently located. :excl:

The buttons on the left side of the phone are now covered by part of the case but they are easily accessible by the buttons built in to the side of the case. You can still feel them click as without the case.

The charge/sync port has a cutout which leaves perfect access and there is a cutout for the leash loop also.

The case does not cover the top of the phone leaving the power button and reset hole easily accessible.

On the back there is a cutout for the camera and flash. There is no cutout for the speaker. I do not notice a big difference with this though. I can still easily hear my phone ring, music play or the arrival of emails. I wasn't sure how this would be affected and planned to cut the hole in myself but I no longer think this is going to be necessary.

The phone and case still slip into my belt case (I purchased the holster from Verizon) so I will be able to continue carrying my phone as I am used to which will be nice. it is a bit tighter but this just means the phone won't come out if I drop everything on the ground. :excl:

Whoa... so there's no place for the speaker holes on the back? Doesn't that muffle the sound?

Uh maybe you had 2. Did you hit update?

I noticed the no speaker hole when I got mine too. It's a little bit quieter, but not a deal breaker. It's tight like a tiger so if you like to take your micro SD out a lot plan on a little bit of a fight. Also I've found putting the volume button side in first makes it easier, due to the buttons being in the case.

lol i find it hard to remove... well i havnt really removed it since i got it .. but it looks dam hard.. because my omnia fits really tightly into the case.. does anyone know a good way to remove it.. without damaging the phone?? or do we have to rip it out using brute force? lol

I feels a little slick, but good. It's like there isn't a case on it. To the poster above I've found the easy way to remove the case is prying from the omnia's stylus holder. It does seem kinda cheap putting it together, but when the phone is in it seems solid so far.
