I have a magic jack and ripped the SIP info so I'm trying to get that working.... Verizon wants you to pay for everything so they rip out stuff like GPS and internet calling..... I've heard bad things about fring but I was thinking about trying it if I can't get WM6voip....

Fring makes my phone crash. Wouldn't recommend it until they fix it.

I use fring. The only problem i have is since the leaked ROM fring closes with an error every now and then. Its usually only when there is a low signal. Doesnt crash my phone, but i havent had a chance to test the skype feature.

Skype released a new beta...I think it's beta 3 I'm testing right now. It now uses the handset speaker instead of speakerphone....it actually works pretty good.

I looked at skype. It doesn't look like I can change the SIP information on there....

You can try X-Lite (installation exe enclosed). It worked fine for me, but on the i900.

Hope this helps

Thanks Maad11, I installed X-lite on my pc and my phone.. It works great on the PC but I must have entered something wrong in my phone.. The problem I'm having now is I can't find the config for the Xlite... How do I go about changing the configuration??

Thanks again!

Were you able to figure it out? I too am attempting to get X-lite work on my i910 with no success. it says that I am logged in but I am unable to receive calls.

Thank you
