Guest Blobs Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) Hi. I am using SPB Mobile Shell 2.1.2 with Imarche skins on my Omnia i900. I also use SBSH Calendar Touch. Is there any way of making the calendar button on the Now screen of SPM MS open the SBSH Calendar Touch screen instead of the SPB calendar window (professional setup)? Maybe I ask too much but there's some clever peeps here who might know if it's possible :excl: Ah, I've just found that the blank "calendar area" on the "now" screen calls up the standard default calendar via "Calendar.exe" in the Windows folder. I've found some posts on using VJBrisk for this but the problem is in copying for safe keeping the existing "Calendar.exe" as access is denied when I try. How can I do this as I don't just want to overwrite it in case of problems later? Edited April 21, 2009 by Blobs

I found that if you overwrite clock.exe with tclock.exe(renamed to clock.exe, outside the windows folder), it will run tclock.exe whereever, clock.exe is called. AND when you delete clock.exe after this, the old clock returns... as you cannot really delete the original clock.exe which is in the ROM... you could try this on calender.exe to confirm.. Guest Blobs Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) Tried this and it overwrites OK but selecting the calendar area on the Now screen of Mobile Shell still brings up the default windows calendar. I tested the new calendar.exe directly in Windows file and it opens Calendar Touch OK so Mobile Shell must have the shortcut coded in somewhere. Just been to the SBSH forum and it's going to need a plugin but SPB are being rather awkward at providing the API details to SBSH. Yet SPB have produced plugins for other PIM's?? SBSH are working on it but can't go further without the API data. Edited April 22, 2009 by Blobs
