Windows 6.1 and GPS

I am wondering since I have a garmin GPS will it work with Windows Mobile 6.1. Meaning do I just install it like I did on Windows 6.0. I am seriously considering upgrading, but am wondering if I still have to do the GPS unlocker deal and want to make sure I have everything backed up just incase my phone is messed up.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble. but if you are in the US/CAN, and use AT&T or Verizon [maybe more Providers, but I dunno] you are locked to use WinMo 6.1's GPS on TeleNav only, unless you unlock it with the MoDaCo unlock tool. then you install EXACTLY like 6.0
