Guest maf107ezk0 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) Many of you may know it, but I didn`t come across this, but THANKS to Pakko, now you can change the name you take from the awful DSC to something that gives info :excl: You just need to copy Camera.exe to your /Windows folder and overwrite the current Camera.exe. It`s tested and confirmed that it works on both WM 6.1 & WM 6.5... Again sry if it was well knows but I felt someone might find this actually usefull :excl: With BIG credits to Pakko and bobobird :excl: Edited April 21, 2009 by maf107ezk0
Guest fastevolutionviii Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Awesome find! Thanks for finding a fix on this. This is something I always didn't like about the camera, but you have solved my problem. :excl:
Guest cOnTaGoUs Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Can anyone confirm this working? as this would be aewsome, but abit weary on transfering something .exe to my phone without having people saying it working lol. Thanks Shouldn't there just be a setting or something for this?
Guest fastevolutionviii Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) It does work! Tested and confirmed. No setting required. :excl: Edited April 21, 2009 by fastevolutionviii
Guest drdudephd Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 it works on my i910. the format for my first picture taken is: 090421_180942.jpg i was wondering if you could change the format, but i'm guessing that's just how camera.exe formats the name. very cool otherwise.
Guest kingamra Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Confirmed working... Thank you for the upload! -a
