if you got an *.cab file put it in your SD CARD or in My Storage and install

if you got an *.exe file you must install from your PC through cable.

when asked where you want to install choose My Storage(that way you don`t loose so much memory in your PDA

hope it helps :excl:

ive tried both ways and it tells me: that version is not supported. i just found out my omnia is a i910...if that helps?

when downloading programs, make sure they are compatible with Windows Mobile 6/6.1, and also, for the omnia, you need the WQVGA or QVGA versions of software. if the program fits both conditions, it should work. also note that you should install most programs onto "my storage" or your storage card, and not in the device memory.

i have a feeling you are trying to install it thru your pc, not the phone itself. Copy the file from your pc to your computer first. Then disconnect from pc and go to the file explorer on your phone, not your pc. Find the .cab file and click on it. It will install then.

like i said before,

if you got a *.exe files you must install from your computer through a cable

if you got a *.cab file then you must copy that file into PDA through the cable, then find the file you just copy & execute that.

I tried moving the .cab file into my storage card and my storage. used file explorer to find it and opened it up but it told me installation unsuccessful. I am also getting that ""Storage memory is critically low." but i dont have anything saved on my storage...i moved all my files to my storage card and yet it still gives me this error...help me please!

strange...realy strange :excl:

do a hard reset through settings-system-hard reset

first reset your "my storage" then reset your "main memory"

make a backup first through activesync/outlook because you will loose everything.

then try copy that *.cab file & install
