Is it possible to change one of the bottom buttons on spb mobile shell 3.x

Hello everyone,

im using my contacts application that come with the omnia a bit and really get used to it

now after i installed the sbp mobile shell 3 it likes that the program force me to use the contacts application that come with the spb mobile shell 3 cause the shortcut to my contacts shows on the bottom of the screen (near the Launcher)

so my question i if i can change the shortcut of the spb contacts that when i preesed on the link it will opens me my contacts application.

How to change Softkey : Today and TF3D

Today left softkey:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2

[Default] = Text

Open = Path of your programm

Today right softkey:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3

[Default] = Text

Open = Path of your programm

How long have you been using MS3. I hated the contact list at first too but once i got used to it noticed its a lot more "finger" touch friendly.

i actually like the ms3 contacts list alot more than the default omnia one.. as Tim-H said, it is really finger friendly and the scrolling is superb. not to mention it looks better than the default one :D

yes its possible to edit those buttons but i have not tried making it link to other programs yet. if you wanna take a stab at it, the file you need to edt is menubar.xml, in the qa_layouts.dat zip file.
