Increase Touch Sensitivity by registry!

requirements: registry program

i used PHM registry

go to:

HKLM/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/TOUCH

and change:

Click: change 1280 to 2000

DownUp: change 256 to 750

That was all!

I did it as well,but favorite hacklings app is more convinient way to do that and plenty of other things.

What does it do? Optimize the settings in various areas so its more sensitive?

with the hack program u can view a lot of information of your device and you can set some settings faster. i will upload some photo's afternoon.

Yes the registry settings make your omnia much sensitiver so u have to touch less hard.

this is weird...my numbers are reversed...my click is 750 and my downup is 2000

lol that would be an understatement. I have the beta ROM, adrynalyne's ROM, all sorts of other programs including Advanced Config which can alter registry settings, but I have not told it to do anything to those

That was an oops! on one of my tweaks. I'll release a cab to the main page to modify that.

just installed it, so we'll see how it goes, I guess that just swaps the 2 registry values?

The omnia will never be as touch sensitive as other TS because of the design flaw, other restive TS are soft thats why you don’t need a lot of pressure, but the omnis is very hard so you have to press a lot harder.

Core, with the "new" digitizers it`s pretty much better than most of the resistive! (I don`t have one, tho) :D

Mate install this cab regedit.Mrln_ARM.CAB

And follow the instructions to change the values that you got.

Just a small hint when you change the values soft reset and go back into the registry and make sure it is still the same,

win can sometimes have a habit of resetting the values.
