Guest krelvinaz Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Been bugging me for a while. I don't connect my phone often to the computer so I've never really tried to figure it out. While I am connected to the computer, Internet on my phone works fine... I can browse using Opera, PIE just fine, If I sync email using Intellesync to my work's Exchange system just fine too. But anytime I try to POP email for one account and Imap to Google, I get blocked and I can't figure out why. I get a message like below. Any clues...
Guest Tim-H Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 (edited) I would guess that activesync is disabling it. When your phone isnt connected to the computer right click the activesync icon on your taskbar go to connection settings and uncheck allow USB connections. Plug your phone back in and see if you still have the problem. If it works now then activesync is the problem. I guess this isnt really a solution for you if you are pluggin it in to use activesync, but If you are plugging it in just to transfer files or charge it this would work for you. To transfer files without activesync go to settings/connections/USB connection mode and switch it to mass storage. It will turn your phone into a removable drive and allow access to the storage card(s) Edited April 26, 2009 by Tim-H
