That guy at geye (pun intended) has been very busy making some cool freeware. Well, IMO honorware -- if you like it, you should donate.

Anyway, I've heard G-Alarm mentioned here many times, but never looked into it. Now that GPS is working on my 910, and having run across a reference (with screenshots) here to G-Watch, I went over to his site and grabbed a copy (just what I need!), and while there learned about his other apps, all of which I grabbed.

They're all cool, but I was particularly interested in how others use G-Alarm. A very feature-rich app, I can see some good stuff for personally (like snooze through the light sensor -- awesome!), but wanted to hear about other people's usage.

BTW, G-Profile is really great too. You should check it out.

I use G-Alarm and the alarm goes off no problem. Its easy to set up and configure, as well. The only problem I've came across, and maybe its just me, but the bell that is displayed next to the clock when the alarm is active will disappear occasionally, when I go to G-Alarm it still says the alarm is active and tells me how long until it goes off, and after a soft reset the bell is shown again next to the clock.

that1ryanguy, I haven`t got a problem with the bell... Dunno  Anyway, G-Alarm is the best  It works great with 6.5 and is very clever :( The thing I don`t like is the way the normal skin looks like, but I don`t go into the program settings everyday so I don`t have another one :D But really, an AWESOME app :D

1. G-alarm snooze stopped working for me! I had to reinstall it a couple of times to have it fixed!

2. I use it to remind me of stuff with the "heart" icon - fast way to use!

3. The interface could be faster... esp. when editing an alarm!

The puzzles are great! Except now i'm so use to it that I can pretty much do them in my sleep  .. which defeats the purpose of the puzzles, and i dont want to have more puzzles because the alarm is really loud (its customizable i know, but a soft alarm wont wake me up :D) and i dont want it waking up the house lol..

true true. the only problem i have with the puzzles is that the screen stays on the mode (portrait or landscape) they come up on so it gets difficult to see the ball when the screen suddenly changes orientation while doing puzzles (i already have mine on the lowest sensitivity).. AND the layout is damn ugly in landscape by the way..

still.. the best alarm prog i've used so far.

g alarm is the best and there also themes avilable for it :D

but something bohters me: why the hell my phone doesn't turn on automatically when alarm should ring (when you really turn it off not just sleep). It's no problem leaving it on over night, but i have stupid ROM that drains battery very quickly and leaves like 20 or 30% in morning. Is this just mine rom or is it just the way windows works?

I love G-alarm, it saved my life in several occasions already. What I like the most about G-alarm is that you can't just turn off the alarm or snooze. You actually have to do calculations or solve mazes in order to turn it off or snooze
