Guest mickey78 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Hello everyone. I am a Bell user in Canada, my device is a Omnia i910 The ROM I currently have is S:i910.10.B.CC30.2027 Is there any possibilities that I can change this ROM to the custom ones you guys are making without any danger? I find the Samsung Online widgets a joke, and the Samsung Today screen is very boring. I'm not really into buying anything like SPB or other mods like that. Thank you
Guest Tim-H Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 I wouldn't. . This guy posted last night that he had a problem with the battery after flashing. I would wait for now.
Guest Adrynalyne Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 I've only seen battery issues. If you could supply me the driver from the Bell rom, and feel brave, I could cook you a rom with the correct battery driver. zylonite_battdrvr.dll is the name of the driver.

I'm anything but brave with this. Like I said, i'm very new, I would rather try something that we know will work than being the beta tester. As for the file, I saw the other post where someone was looking for it. Do you know where is the file on the device?

Guest mitts2010 Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 Do not install any of the ROMs. I am with Telus, I installed a Verizon ROM and not only did my battery not work, but you also don't get reception.

Guest Smack99 Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 I called their data support dept & they informed me that flashing the ROM is not covered ... <_<
Guest mickey78 Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 I guess the trick is not telling them, and hoping their repair dept is stupid enough not to see it.
