is it true that there is no risk on bricking the phone if one flashing only the os part ?

and if so why there is ever a need to flash the other two parts?

im not sure i've got your answer

and if this is not true can you tell me why -

if i understands right to brick your phone means that you screwed up the boot loader

and if you flashing only the os part - there is no risk of doing that - am i wrong?

This hold true for the i910, I can't say if this is true for the i900 flashing method.

I have flash many a bad images. As long as you only flash to the pda portion, you can get to the bootloader to reflash with a correct image.

any body know about the i900l

im asking that because i want to try and cook my own rom and im sure that at the first times i'l make mistakes and i'm dont want to brick my phone ..
