I think this is normal My omnia came with two STANDARD BATTERIES and one thin which can charge them without Omnia So i recharge one while having fun with another Simple :D
Guest Natsirt Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) The battery is has a larger capacity than usual cellphones, therefore it takes longer to charge .. simple as that :D My old nokia 6290 took about 1 hour to charge, and it lasted me about a day.. and my omnia takes about 3 hours to charge and lasts me 3-4 days.. what i would like to know is, if i charge the omnia when its got 60% battery left, would that damage the battery?? Because it's at 60% right now and I'll b out at university the whole day tomoro and I don't want my omnia to die on me ... Edited April 27, 2009 by Natsirt
Guest krelvinaz Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 You can charge it whenever you need to without memory effects.

Guest paperfactory30 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 so i take it's ok then :D Apparently more frequent charging is recommended with lithium-ion batteries versus full discharge, then full charging as in the case of the old Ni-Cad batteries. Here is some good info to read through. http://batteryuniversity.com/index.htm
