Guest Natsirt Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Hey guys, I've recently noticed that after I configured my GPRS and installed SPB Mobile shell 3.0, I keep seeing a ATU_NITZ.exe process running on my phone (through task manager). I'm wondering what this is because I have no apps running and I have never gotten this before setting up my GPRS and MS3. Does anyone know what this is?? I have a similar question about JBlendDaemon, what is it? lol... I think it's related to messaging.. :S Are these .exe processes harmful for my phone? And do they suck up alot of battery?? Thanks in advance :D
Guest bpivk Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 (edited) AFAIK ATU_NITZ.exe is a time server process and JBlendDaemon is a Java process. No exe processes are harmfull for your phone unless you install a cab file from unknown origin. No processes don't usualy suck up a lot of energy but they can if you have a lot of them runing. I wouldn't force them to close though because if you have them runing you did install something you want to use and it usually won't work well if you close something that the software needs.
