Changing Weather Icons in SPB Mobile Shell 3?

I see a lot of people changing the weather icons in Mobile Shell 3. Would it be possible to use the animated (1 loop) icons from Rumball's Weather Panel theme (found in an xda thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401781 ) as the weather icons in mobile shell? I don't know how to do this or I would try it myself. Anyone more educated than me on it want to give it a try? I appreciate any help. Thanks!
