Could someone spare some time to help?

I've been doing some reading into the ROM updates. I am wanting to install the ROM update from here - http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...for-omnia-i910/

This is my first smartphone - so it will be my first ROM update. Just a few questions.

1. Has anyone updated their ROM using Vista 64 bit?

2. The pdf in the thread shows the creator using v 1.7 UMDL_Omnia...the one I downloaded is v2.3. Some of the buttons are different - so it seems the instructions are a tad different.

3. I installed CDMA v1.6 on my laptop. Does this driver contain the .img/.rom/CSC binary files? I cannot find those files for the life of me. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I am have AIM/MSN if anyone wouldn't mind taking a couple minutes to chat with me about this. I'd be most appreciative.

your simplest soloution would be to set up a xp virtual machine and use that for the updating.
