Omnia screen problem... need help

Hi guys, i woke up this morning and my screen is blank/black! It's very similiar to that old problem some people had where the screen wouldn't "wake up".

I updated my rom about a month or two ago with the official samsung release (can't remember which one) and the only new software iv'e installed in the past few weeks is that ShootMe program Net CF 3.5 (or wwhatever it's called) and spb 3, but i don't think any of them have cause the problem. I have pushed the reset button and even taken out the battery for a while then reinserted it... still no luck. The phone is definately on, i can hear it receiving messages and incoming calls, if you push the hang up button you hear a beep and the screen is still responsive ie: if i push the dial button/"geen button", i can the dial numbers ( not sure which ones i'm pushing though).

So the screen is off, but it is still touch responsive. The reason i don't think it's because of software is even if i switch off the phone i don't see any of the boot up samsung images (so i can't really format), i only hear the sounds.

Sorry if i sound a bit crazy, but i'm quite worked up about all of this.... please help me out.

PS: the last time i saw my phone working was last night and i haven't bumped it or dropped it.... might have sat on it :D

Go here My Mobile Website download and connect phone to pc and install, you'll have to guess where to hit yes to accept the install on the phone (should be around bottom left) then with this program you can operate phone from pc with live screen.

Good luck, hopefully its only a setting somewhere.
