Guest Itlooksfast Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Hey anyone try any of those FM Transmitter like these http://shop.ebay.com/items/__Omnia-fm-tran...ansmiter?_rdc=1 I just wanna know if they are worth buying. I wanna use my phone and listen to music while im driving instead of using the radio station since it changes from one place to another. If you bought one of these or any Omnia FM Transmitter...please let me know how it is...like sound quality and how well it works. Thanks
Guest Matja Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 +1 Especcially this one http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-FM-Transmitter-Cha...:1|293:1|294:50 Any1 used it already?
Guest Tim-H Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I think you're probably better off buying one that plugs into the 3.5mm stereo port, there are lots out there with reviews.
Guest wkmmx500 Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I bought one, but have only used it a few times. It works as advertized. Build quality it good, frequency on the display is a bit hard to see in bright light but since you adjust it once no real problem and doesn't blind you at night. Sound quality was fine. The reason I stopped using it is because it doesn't charge your Omnia. So for long trips it's not an option. Other thing to keep in mind, is that when you've plugged it in your Omnia you might have a problem with fitting your Omnia in your car holder. But if none of the above is a problem, it's a great add-on to your Omnia for a handfull of dollars. Gr.,W. I wonder why do they design the connector at the side. It's not very friendly for car holders.
Guest banistersmind Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 I tried one of these but I found that it actually sucked a hell of a lot of power from my Omnia to the point where I just couldn't use it anymore. I ended up buying the Motorola T505 bluetooth car kit which has an FM transmitter built in. You can effortlessly pair the Omnia with that and run it through your FM radio. It gives great sound and there's no wires - win win!
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 I have a Transmitter, and it works lovely - mine is through the 3.5mm jack and also supports USB and SD cards :D
